He was born January 22, 1933 in Hope, AR to the late Hulbert T. and Eve Beck Flesher. He was a retired MSGT of the United States Air Force and served in Vietnam. He was the election poll watcher for the New Lois precinct, and a member of the First Baptist Church of Ray City. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Ray Flesher of Nashville; son Phillip Flesher of Nashville; two daughters, Karen (Dale) Malinosky of Pensacola, FL and Cathy (Anthony) Boyette of King, NC; seven grandchildren, 14 great- grandchildren; two sisters, Juanita Burroughs and Florence Lombardo, both of Hope; three brothers, Howard Flesher and David Flesher, both of Hope and Paul Flesher of Palicades, CO. Funeral services were held on March 28 at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Ray City with the Rev. Robbie Peavy and Rev. John Evan Patten officiating. Interment was in Beaver Dam Cemetery with full military honors. Lovein Funeral home was in charge of arrangements.
