She was born February 8, 1935, in Barnwell, SC, to the late Henry F. and Ruby Louise Green. She was a homemaker and had been employed with the Berrien County Board of Education as a secretary for Berrien Elementary School. She was a member of Ray City First Baptist Church and the widow of Bill Flesher who died on March 22, 2013. She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles W. Ray; sister, Imajean Beck. She is survived by two daughters, Karen (Dale) Malinosky of Pensacola, FL and Cathy (Anthony) Boyette of King, NC; son, Phillip Flesher of Nashville; sister, Carol (Jimmy) Johnikin of Nashville; two brothers; Furman (Billy Jean) Ray of Valdosta and Donald F. Ray of Nashville; seven grandchildren, 14 great- grandchildren. Funeral services were held April 1 at 2 p.m. at Ray City First Baptist Church with the Rev. Robbie Peavy officiating. Interment followed at Beaver Dam Cemetery. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
