Born Nov. 20, 1918 in Berrien County to the late William K. and Minnie Lane Sikes, she was a homemaker and retired school teacher. A member of Riverside Missionary Baptist Church, she was married to the late Harmon Bernie Floyd. Survivors include two daughters, Marian (Charles) Duggan and Doris (Terry) Mann, all of Nashville; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Oct. 26 at 2 p.m. at Riverside Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Vernon Hughes and Archie Hendley officiating. Joe McMillan provided a trumpet solo and Debra Boyd sang "In the Garden," accompanied by Carol Hendley, pianist. Interment was in Riverside Cemetery. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
