She was born March 28, 1928 in Crisp County to the late Robert Stapleton Greene and the late Edie Mae Alred. She was a retired teacher with the Berrien County Board of Education and a member of the Nashville First Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Albert Folsom of Nashville; one daughter, Karen (Mark) Loerzel of Gainesville, Fla.; one son: Al (Ann) Folsom of Austin, Texas; four grandchildren, Jared, Kacey, Gardner and Maury; two sisters, Ida Salonia Pate of Asheville, N.C., and Geneva Mooney of Columbus; and two brothers, Bob Greene and Frank Greene, both of Arabi. Funeral services were held on June 19 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Stanley Luke officiating. "How Great Thou Art" was played on CD. Interment was in Westview Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Maury Folsom, Jared Loerzel, Greg Thompson, Robby Greene, Stan Folsom, Bill Folsom.
