 Josephine Luke Ford, 94, of Nashville died April 21, 2014, at South Georgia 
Medical Center Berrien Campus.
 She was born March 1, 1920, in Atkinson County to the late Millard and Tressie 
Rowe Luke. She was a homemaker and member of Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist. 
She was the widow of J.N. Ford who died in 1996. She was also preceded in death 
by a daughter, Sylvia Dorminey Pierce; a son, Donald Ford; sister, Lois Moreash; 
brother, Buddy Luke.
 Survivors include four daughters, Carolyn (Raymond) Roland of Nashville, Sandra 
(Billy) Webb of Ray City, Rindy (Dave) Kennedy of Tuscaloosa, AL, Jo Ford of 
Nashville; brother, Jeff Luke of Nashville; 16 grandchildren, 24 great-
grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Virginia 
Ganas of Lakeland.
 Funeral services were held April 23 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral 
Home with the Rev. Stan Stalvey and Gary James officiating.
 Interment followed at Ford Family Cemetery.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
