 Ruby Jean Fountain, 88, of Ray City died October 30, 2004 at South Georgia 
Medical Center in Valdosta.

 Born in Berrien County to the late Henry and Rachel Giddens, she was retired 
from Nashville Textile and was a member of First Christian Church in Ray City. 
She was married to the late Brooker T. Fountain, Sr.

 Survivors include five daughters, Dorothy Selman and Dolly Anderson, both of 
St. Mary's, Sandy Fountain of Decatur, Fonda Fountain of St. Augustine, FL, 
Shirley Brown of Summerville, SC; two sons, Brooker Fountain, Jr. of Lowndes 
County and Alan Fountain of Berrien County; two brothers, Henry Giddens of 
Sparks and Edward Giddens of Palatka, FL; 11 grandchildren, 22 great-
grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren.

 Funeral services were held Nov. 1 at Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services 
with the Revs. James Cooper and Jeff Palmer officiating. Musical selections 
included "Precious Memories" and "Go Rest High on that Mountain."

 Pallbearers were Brandon Nix, Shane Nix, Joel Fountain, Greg Tucker, Scott 
Avery, Lance Tucker, Rob Shirley, Virgil Moore.

 Music Funeral Home of Lakeland was in charge of arrangements.
