Fountain Died Yesterday Noon Mrs. W.E. Fountain, a well known Berrien County lady, died yesterday at 12:30 P.M. at her home one mile south of Nashville, after being ill for the past two months of complications caused from advanced age. She was 64 years of age. The deceased was born and reared at Mt. Vernon, Montgomery County, where many relatives reside. The Fountains moved to Berrien County about seven years ago, endearing themselves to many people in Berrien County. The deceased was a loyal member of the Methodist Church, and was a fine and well-liked lady. Many friends in this county are saddened at her passing. The body was prepared for burial by Mr. W.H. Tygart, local undertaker, and carried to the home of one of her sons at Vidalia yesterday afternoon. The funeral services will be held this afternoon at 3 o’clock at Mt. Vernon, interment following in the Mt. Vernon cemetery, which is twelve miles from Vidalia. Particulars of the funeral arrangements could not be learned at this time. Those surviving are her husband, seven sons, and two daughters. The sons are: Mr. Charles Fountain, of Ailey; Mr. George Fountain, of Douglas; Messrs. J.K. and W.G. Fountain, of Vidalia; Messrs. D.W. and M.L. Fountain, of Nashville; and Mr. J.W. Fountain, of Columbus. The daughters are: Mrs. J. Nobles, of Nashville, and Mrs. J.A. Herrington, of Ocilla.
