Born April 6, 1936 in Berrien Co. to Myrtle Foxworth of Nashville and the late Willie Leamon Foxworth, he was a veteran of the US Air Force, a retired insurance agent, a member, deacon and choir member of Cuthbert First Baptist Church, a Sunday School teacher at Joe-Anne Burgin Nursing Home, a member of Cuthbert Lions Club, and a baseball coach for the Cuthbert Recreation Department. Survivors, in addition to his mother, include his wife, Gladys Dean Foxworth of Cuthbert, three sons, Craig Foxworth, Derrell Foxworth and Leamon Foxworth, all of Cuthbert, three daughters, Teresa Callaway and Diana Tondee, both of Cuthbert, and Denise Causey of Dawson; one brother, Lt. Col. (Chaplain) Randy Foxworth of the US Army, stationed in Germany; six sisters, Betty Watson of Albany, Fannie Fletcher, Earnestine Gaskins and Joan Sirmons all of Nashville, Freddie Ann Bostic and Charlotte Foxworth both of Adel; 20 grandchildren, one great=grandchild. Funeral services were held Feb. 4 at 3 p.m. at Cuthbert First Baptist Church with the Revs. Tom McClendon and Floyd Hipp officiating. Interment was in East View Cemetery in Cuthbert. Lunsford Funeral Home of Cuthbert was in charge of arrangements.
