Born October 17, 1938 in Berrien County to the late Benjamin Franklin and Ella Moore Franklin, he was a retired fiberglass fabricator. He attended Cornerstone Christian Church in Sparks and was an Army veteran. Survivors include three daughters, Jackie Exum and Belinda Holbrook, both of Nashville and Terri Solano of Elkton, FL; one son, Rick Franklin of Nashville; one sister, Agnes Jones of Stone Mountain; three brothers, Herman Franklin of Snellville, Pete Franklin of Virginia, Vinson Franklin of Albany; five grandchildren. Funeral services were held December 10 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Charlie Scarbrough officiating. Interment was in Nashville Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers were Duane Lisenby, Randy Warren, Wayne Warren, Barry Franklin, Bradley Solano, Brandon Keever. Honorary pallbearers were Little Exum, Justin Anderson, Herman Franklin, Pete Franklin, Vinson Franklin, George Harper. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
