Futch, the four-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. J.L. Futch, of Daytona Beach, Fla., died on Saturday, Sept. 13, of Meningitis, at the Halifax hospital in Daytona Beach, following a brief illness. Immediately following the death the Futch home was quarantined and the body held at the Bingham-Maley mortuary until after the ban is lifted, when it will e taken back to their former home in Alapaha for burial and interment. Besides its parents, three brothers and three sisters survive. Mr. and Mrs. Futch moved to Daytona Beach from Alapaha about three weeks ago. Mr. Futch exchanged rural routes with a Mr. Edmonson who is now in Alapaha.
