Born April 23, 1931 in Cullman County, AL, to the late Eursie and Vera Gaither, he served in the United Army and was holiness by faith. He was preceded in death by a son, Gary Allen Gaither, two infant brothers, and a sister, Wynell Hamm. Survivors include one daughter, Dawn Rocheleau of Valdosta, one son, Chris Gaither of Nashville; four sisters, Mary Lou Parson and Margaret Crews, both of Nashville, Hazel Arnold of Supply, NC; Pat Garner of Ray City; two brothers, Clifton Gaither of Mystic, Charles Gaither of Nashville; grandchildren, Chris (Zeke) Gaither, Jr., Austin Audie Gaither, Ryan Rocheleau, Lucas Rocheleau, Levi Rocheleau. Funeral services were held August 17 at 11 a.m. at Little Block Holiness Church in Ray City. Interment was in Nashville Memorial Gardens. Music Funeral Home of Lakeland was in charge of arrangements.
