Gaskins, Robert Edwin    
 ALAPAHA — Robert Edwin Gaskins, 63, of Alapaha, died Monday, April 14, 2008, 
at his residence. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday 
at Fletcher Cemetery, with the Rev. Mike Gibbs and the Rev. Bruce Vaughn 
officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home; the family will 
receive friends at their home in Alapaha. Mr. Gaskins was born May 14, 1944, 
in Berrien County, the son of Edwin Gaskins and the late Marguerite Johnson 
Gaskins. He was a retired heating and air conditioning technician and was a 
Navy veteran with service in Vietnam. He was a member of Alapaha Baptist 
Church. He is survived by a daughter, Kim Bishop of Stevensville, Mich.; his 
father, Edwin Gaskins of Alapaha, and three sisters, Dona Fields and Marsha 
Cole, both of Alapaha, and Suzanne Gaskins of Temple; one grandson, Derek 
Bishop.
 Lovein Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
