She was born on Sept. 15, 1914 in Berrien County to George and Honor McMillan Grantham. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was the widow of Lonnie Gaskins who died in 1972. She is survived by two daughters, Linda Kay Barnes of Fitzgerald, Ruth Goolsby of Nashville; two sons, Max Gaskins, Nashville, Bobby Gaskins, Norcross; 13 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; 19 great-great-grandchildren; and one brother, George Grantham, Jr. of Lubbock, Texas. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 1, 2005 in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Dwight Bishop officiating. Burial will be held in Westview Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. this evening. Pallbearers were Bart Fountain, Chip Gaskins, Jack Woods, Tyler McMillan, Tanner McMillan, Eric Gaskins. — Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
