 Virginia Lee Gaskins, 74, of Alapaha died Dec. 12, 2010, at Louis Smith Me
Memorial Hospital.
 Born April 20, 1936 in Berrien County to the late Shellie and Mitte McMillan H
Harper, she was a homemaker and former chairman of the Berrien County Search a
and Rescue Clothes Closet. She was a member of Flat Creek Baptist Church.
 Survivors include her husband, Jimmie R. Gaskins of Alapaha; daughter and son-in
in-law, Tammy and Ronnie Carter of Alapaha; sister and brother-in-law, Jean and
Buck
Buck Bennett of Sparks; granddaughter, Alex Carter; two grandsons, Kyle and Lyle
Lyle Carter. She was preceded in death by a brother, James Harper.
 Funeral services will be held Dec. 15 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Lovein Fun
Funeral Home with Rev. Mickey Lindsey officiating. Music will be provide by Buc
Buck Warren.
 Interment will be held at Westview Cemetery.
 Pallbearers will be Derwin Conley, Jimmy Simmons, Marshall Bennett, Tyler H
Harvey, Bill Wood, Robbie Dasher.
 Lovein Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
