Mr. Jim Gaskins Died in Nashville Sunday
	News was received in Valdosta this morning of the death of Mr. Jim 
Gaskins, clerk of the superior court of Nashville, which occurred suddenly 
Sunday night.	
	Mr. Gaskins was a very popular official and had held office in Nashville 
for a number of years.  It was thought he was in very good health and his sudden 
death caused much sorrow among his friends.
	It is not known what time the funeral will occur, but it will probably 
be some time Monday or Tuesday.  He is survived by his wife and children, 
besides a large number of relatives and friends.
