The little girls was seriously burned about six weeks ago, and death resulted from complications developing about a week ago. Funeral services were conducted yesterday afternoon at 3:30 o’clock at the Poplar Springs Church by Rev. George Sirmans, with burial in the church cemetery. An unusual large number of people were present to pay their last respects. Surviving are the parents, one brother and sister, Mary Frances and Harvey Gaskins, and many other relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Bradford of Tifton were among those from out of town attending the funeral.
