Terrell Gay, 68, of Jacksonville, Florida died August 25, 2007 at his residence. Born February 18, 1939 in Berrien County to the late Fred and Clara Mathis Gay, he was a minister, security guard and a transport driver for several dealerships in Jacksonville. He was a member of First Baptist Church Atlantic Beach in Jacksonville. Survivors include his wife, Pat Pike Gay of Jacksonville; one daughter, Deborah Rousch of Middleburg, FL; six sons, Scott Gottusco, Jason Gottusco and Geoffrey Wilson, all of Jacksonville, Terry Gay of Page, AZ, Paul Gay of Tifton, John Sizemore of Rantoul, IL; two sisters, Alvieta "Veda" Kennedy of Tifton and Betty Jean Maine of Nashville; one brother, Bobby Gay of Nahunta; ten grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held August 30 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with Revs. Willie Heath and Billy Roberts officiating. Taped music included "Amazing Grace," "How Great Thou Art," "On the Wings of a Dove" and "If I Could Hear My Mama Pray Again." Interment was in Fletcher Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Richard Kinard, Joe Dixon, Steve Dixon, Jimmy Gaskins, Lincoln Gaskins, Kenny Lee. Honorary pallbearers were Kenneth Lee, Bill Lee, Donald Stodghill. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
