 Paul Marshal Gay, 39, of Tifton died Jan. 28, 2009 at Tift Regional Medical 
Center.
 Born Aug. 6, 1969 in Augusta to Linda Charles C. Rogers Sizemore of Enigma 
and the late Terrell Cleveland Gay, he was a longtime resident of Tift and 
Berrien Counties. He was a HACV technician with Safe Air and Tropical Air, a 
NASCAR fan and enjoyed flowers and gardening, watching sports on TV, fishing 
and going to the beach. He was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his 
father, he was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Mary Sapp, his maternal 
grandfather, Charles C. Rogers, and his paternal grandparents, Fred and Clara 
Gay.
 Survivors, in addition to his mother, include his wife, Sharon Sapp Gay of 
Tifton; one son, Grant Marshal Gay of Tifton; three brothers and two sisters-
in-law, Terry and Shelly Gay of Page, AZ, John and Tommie Sizemore of Rantoul, 
IL, Bubba Sizemore of Enigma; one sister, Crystal Sizemore of Moultrie; two 
step-brothers, Scott Gottusco and Jason Gottusco, both of Jacksonville, FL; 
one step-sister, Deborah Rousch of Middleburg, FL; his step-father, Albert 
Sizemore of Omega; a special aunt, Alveita Kennedy of Tifton; his step-mother, 
Pat Gay of Atlantic Beach, FL; his grandmother, Lillie Tatum of Tampa, FL; 
father-in-law, David Sapp of Saginaw, MI; sisters-in-law, Carolyn Farrand of 
Birch Run, MI and Shawn Sapp of Saginaw; many nieces, nephews, aunts and 
uncles.
 Funeral services were held on Fev. 2 at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Albritton-
Beaumont Funeral Directors with the Revs. Steve Luke and Jason Jones 
officating.
 Interment was in Fletcher Cemetery.
 Pallbearers were Dink Barnes, Gene Carroll, Shawn McClain, Robert McClain, 
Jerry Shivers, Billy Tatum, Johnny Stansbury and Terry Lee Sloan.
 Albritton-Beaumont Funeral Directors was in charge of arrangements.
