 Willie "W.C" Gibbs, 69, of Enigma died August 3, 2004 at South Georgia Medical 
Center in Valdosta.

 Born Dec. 11, 1934 in Tift County to the late Elbert R. and Marylou Owens 
Gibbs, he was a carpenter and attended Enigma United Methodist Church.

 Survivors include his wife, Doris Giddens Gibbs of Enigma; one daughter, 
Sylvia Goodman of Tifton; two step daughters, Marie Hulett and Tina Roberts 
both of Enigma; one step son, Eugene Roberts, of Enigma; one brother, Eugene 
Gibbs of Brookfield; six sisters, Norma Pidgeon of Tifton, Mary Belle Harrell 
and Hilda Davis, both of Brookfield, Reba Ontano Cassell of California, Ann 
Roberts of Albany, Odelia Abell of Jacksonville, FL; 10 grandchildren.

 Funeral services were held August 6 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Bowen-
Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Revs. Shaun Suggs and Walter Powell 
officiating.

 Interment was in Tift Memorial Gardens.

 Pallbearers were Mark Owens, Bruce Giddens, Cecil Giddens, Lamar Davis, Donald 
Bennett, Lyndon Baker.

 Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals was in charge of arrangements.
