 NASHVILLE -- Myrtle Giddens, 84, of Nashville, died Saturday, October 11, 
1997, at the Berrien County Hospital.
 A native of Coffee Co., Mrs. Giddens was born May 23, 1913 to Newton L. 
McNeal and Mattie Daniels McNeal.
 She was a homemaker and a member of Poplar Springs Missionary Baptist Church.
 She is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Delores Corbitt of 
Pearson, Mattie and Emerson Nix of Valdosta and Patsy and Bobby McGee of Lake 
Park; two sisters, Agnes Baxley of Pearson and Ludell Sloan of Waycross; 12 
grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
 She was preceded in death by her husband, Mose Giddens and two sons, Jackie 
and Kenny Giddens.
 Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at Poplar Springs Missionary 
Baptist Church with the Rev. Junior Swain and the Rev. Fred Hesters 
officiating. Interment will follow at Guest Mill Pond Cemetery in Clinch Co.
 Visitation will be today after 2 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 
7-9 p.m.
 Lovein Funeral Home, Nashville is in charge of arrangements
