Neil Giddens, 66,of Nashville died November 17, 2014, at Tift Regional Medical 
Center.
 He was born April 1, 1948, in Lowndes County to the late Eston Giddens and the 
late Carolyn Sirmans. He was a retired heavy equipment operator with the City of 
Nashville and a member of Abundant Life Assembly of God. He was preceded in 
death by an infant son.
 He is survived by his wife, Shirley Bridgham Giddens of Nashville; sons, Robert 
(Melissa) Giddens of Nashville; sister, Brenda Exum of Ray City; two brothers, 
Wayne Giddens of Adel and Rickey Giddens of Ray City; four grandchildren, Aaryn, 
Landynrae, Hayden and Addysen.
 Funeral services were held November 20 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Lovein 
Funeral Home with the Rev. Raymond Cason and Rev Johnny Smith officiating.

 Interment was in New Ramah Cemetery in Ray City.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in Charge of arrangements.
