Mr. Matthew Giddens Died in Millville, Fla.
	Word reaches Nashville of the death of Mr. Matthew Giddens, former 
Berrien County citizen, at Millville, Fla. On last Thursday, March 7, with 
funeral services and interment the following day in that city.
	The deceased was born and reared in Berrien County, and sixty five years 
ago was married to the former Miss Mary DeVane, both of whom are well known and 
highly esteemed in this county.  Mr. Giddens and family had resided in Florida 
the past twenty-five years.
	Surviving is Mrs. Giddens, his widow, and eight children as follows:  
Charles W. Giddens of Hay Harbor, Fla., Newton G. Giddens of Cherryvale, Kansas, 
Capt. Jas. A. Giddens of San Francisco, Cal., John P. Giddens of Savannah, Mrs. 
J.E. Harper of Millville, Fla., and Mrs. J.M. Moses of Montgomery, Ala.
	The deceased is well known in Berrien County and highly esteemed by all 
who knew him.
