Peacock, following an illness of three months. Death was caused by cancer. Funeral services were held at the Long Bridge Church Thursday, August 5, at 4 o’clock P.M. with interment in the church cemetery. Miss Giddens was the daughter of Mr. Silas Giddens of Berrien County. She was born in this county Janaury 11, 1866 and for the past six months had made her home with her half-brother, Mr. Peacock. Surviving her is a brother, Art Giddens; a half-sister, Mrs. Jane Odum; and two half-brothers, J.T. Peacock and Rube Peacock, all of Nashville. Funeral arrangements were in charge of the Giddens Funeral Home of Nashville.
