 Anne Jeanette Smith Gilsdorf, 81, former of Jacksonville, FL, died April 27, 
2007 at  Southpoint Terrace Rehab Hospital.
 A resident of Duval County since 1954, she retired from the Jacksonville 
Sheriff's Office after serving as Chief Steward of the Jails. She was born and 
raised in Alapaha, the youngest of seven children born to R. S. "Bo" and Janie 
Mae Smith. She is predeceased by all of her brothers and sisters.
 Survivors include her children, Bill, Kathy (McLeod), James and Richard; their 
families, three grandchildren; David, Jason and Kimberly; and two great-
grandchildren; Michaela and Zachary.
 A graveside service was held at 12 p.m. May 2 at Alapaha Cemetery in Alapaha

 Corey-Kerlin Funeral Homes and Crematory of Jacksonville was in charge of 
arrangements.
