 James Jacob Glatz, 76 of Ray City passed away Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2009 at 
Smith-Northview Memorial Hospital. He was born on May 21, 1933 in Erie Co., 
Pa. to the late Theodore and Leda Cooper Glatz. He was a retired carpenter and 
Army veteran. He was of the Roman Catholic faith and attended St. John in 
Valdosta and St. Mary in Nashville. He is survived by his wife, Marjorie Swan 
Glatz of Ray City; five daughters, Deborah Braswell, Robin Harper, both of Ray 
City, Kathy Lindsey, Ranch, Calif., Teresa Glatz, Corry, Pa., Mary Glatz, 
Tifton; four sons, James J. Glatz, Jr., Nashville, Theodore Glatz, Clymer, 
N.Y., Darin Glatz, Corry, Pa., Raymond George, Ray City; 29 grandchildren; and 
numerous great-grandchildren. Graveside funeral service will be held at 1 
p.m., Saturday, Aug. 22, 2009 in New Ramah Cemetery with Father Luis Fonseca 
officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday from 9-11 a.m.. - Lovein Funeral 
Home, Nashville.
