Linda Alice Goff, 70, of Adel, passed Friday, Jan. 30, 2009, at her residence. 
She was born on Sept. 2, 1938, in Manatee County, Fla., to the late Floyd 
James and Helen Alice Christie Clanton. She was a homemaker, was employed with 
Berrien Health Center for 25 years and attended the Nashville Mission. She is 
survived by her husband, Charles Billy Goff of Adel; daughter, Cindy Arnold, 
Valdosta; two brothers, Ralph Clanton, Evansville, Tenn., Bill Clanton, 
Vienna; three granddaughters, Candice Moore, Adel, Samantha Guthrie, Rachel 
Goff, both of Valdosta; great-grandson, Gage Tennison, Adel; four nephews; 
three nieces. She was preceded in death by a sister, Wanda Eason. Funeral 
service will be held Sunday, Feb. 1, 2009, at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Lovein 
Funeral Home with the Rev. R.T. Castleberry, the Rev. Donnie Sloan and the 
Rev. James Bailey officiating. Interment will be held in Pine Grove Cemetery. 
Visitation will be held this evening from 7-9 p.m. - Lovein Funeral Home,
