 The Berrien Press -- Jesse "J.B." Goodman, 81, of Nashville died February 7, 
2006 at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton.
  Born July 6, 1924 in Berrien County to the late Rance Wright and Millie 
Sumner Goodman, he was a retired farmer and was of the Baptist faith. He was 
married to the late Ruth Allen Goodman and the late Pat Benton Goodman.
  Survivors include two sons, J.L. Goodman of Ocilla and David Benton of 
Hawkinsville; seven daughters, Pauline Howell, Anita Brady and Janie Brooks all 
of Nashville, June Cooper of Perry, Peggy Pastrano of Fitzgerald, Diane Sirmans 
of Valdosta, Nancy Flippo of Poulan; two brothers, Avis Goodman of Chula and 
Wilbur Goodman of Enigma; 30 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and 
great-great-grandchildren.
  Funeral services were held February 10 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Bowen-
Donaldson Funeral Home with the Revs. Jack Perrin and Edwin Dillard officiating.
  Interment was in Hickory Springs Primitive Baptist Cemetery.
  Pallbearers were Coy Connell, Tracy Connell, Brody Duncan, Steve Goodman, 
Michael Goodman, Timmy Goodman, Jake Brooks, Rocky Stone, Don Gardner, Vinson 
Browning.
  Bowen-Donaldson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
