Nashville -- Margaret Grant, 81, of Nashville died June 11, 2007 at her 
residence.
 Born September 10, 1925 in Oconee County, SC, to the late Horace and 
Christine Bradberry Whitfield, she was a homemaker and member of Hope Baptist 
Church.
 Survivors include her husband, Charles L. "Charlie" Grant of Nashville; two 
daughters, Ann Barton of Ray City, Jane Grant of Nashville; one brother, Lamar 
Whitfield of Anderson, SC; four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren. She 
was preceded in death by a son, Charles David Grant, four brothers and one 
sister.
 Funeral services were held June 13 at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Lovein Funeral 
Home with Rev. Steve Pickern officiating. Ann Barton, daughter, sang "Roll Me 
Over the Tide" and "Victory in Jesus" was played on CD.
 Interment was n Nashville Memorial Gardens.
 Active pallbearers were Willis Woody, Walt Blackmon, J.B. Brown, David 
Yeomans, Gary Schofield, Danny Hendley.
 Honorary pallbearers were members of J.B. Brown Sunday School class.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
