Gray Buried in Berrien Sunday Mr. D.W. Gray, whose home was near Lenox, met a tragic death near Fargo while working at a saw mill of the Southern Pine Products Co., last Friday. He was a head block setter and went to step over the carriage at the mill and is thought to have thrown the lever the wrong way. He was thrown against the saw and terribly cut about the body, one leg being severed, it is stated. He lived only a short while after being injured. Mr. Gray was about thirty years of age and is survived by his wife and four children and his mother and other relatives. His father died about a year ago. The remains were carried to Lenox Saturday night on the Georgia Southern train and taken in charge by undertaker A.D. Wiseman and carried to the home of Mr. Joe Clanton, the funeral occurring Sunday at Oak Grove church in Berrien County and being conducted by Rev. L.A. Hancock. Mr. Gray was well-known in and around Lenox and his tragic death is greatly regretted, the family having many friends to sympathize with them deeply. – Adel News.
