He was a lifelong resident of Berrien County and a member of the New Griffin Missionary Baptist Church. He was a farmer and a Navy Veteran of WWII. He is survived by his widow, Carolyn Hall Griffin, Alapaha; one son, Wayne Griffin, Alapaha; one sister, Evelyn Rowan, Nashville; five brothers, Gene Griffin, Alapaha, Clifton Griffin, Gainesville, FL, Weyman Griffin, Jacksonville, FL, Coy Griffin, Ft. Myers, Fl, Fain Griffin, Riverdale; one grandson, Jamie Griffin. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. today in the New Griffin Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Jesse Stalvey and the Rev. Olem Bennett officiating. Burial will be in Brogdon Cemetery. Lovein Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements Additional Comments: Son of John E.
