Born March 1, 1943 in Cook County to Lois Manus Kearce of Cecil and the late Willis Miley, she was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, Randall Griffin of Nashville; daughter, Lanell Knowles of Nashville; three sisters, Dorothy Outlaw and Louise Shealey, both of Nashville, Linda Sue Lott of Lakeland; four brothers, Bill Miley and Philmore Miley, both of Nashville, Junior Miley of Lenox, Wendell Miley of Florida; two grandchildren. Funeral services were held October 27 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Revs. Dennis Rowland, Julian Adams and Charlie Scarborough officiating. Mary Jane Adams sang "God On the Mountain." Interment was in Nashville Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers were Neil Giddens, Ronnie Harris, Tony Boyd, Raymond Knowles, Jessi King, Tommy Davis. Honorary pallbearers were Archie Stone, Sam Adams, Donald Knowles, Derek Jackson, Wallace Cook, Joe Callahan. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
