She was the last child born to Solomon M. (Soddie) and Rachel Faulk Greene, h having been born in their home in the Poplar Springs area of eastern Berrien C County. During her adult life, she lived with her husband and children in the Dr. Phillips area of Orlando, FL., Lakeland, FL., and for nearly 30 years in and around Fostproof, FL. She was a beautician by trade. She worked in Gwen’s Beauty Shop and Mary’s Beauty Shop, both in Frostproof. She had been a Brownie Girl Scout leader while living in Lakeland and a member of the VFW Auxiliary in Frostproof Frostproof. Her greatest joy was volunteering for Hospice of South Georgia. She w was a member of Hope Baptist Church in Nashville, where she surely enjoyed s serving her Lord. In addition to her husband, Carson Griffin, and her parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Noah Green, Floyd Green, Erman Green, George Green, Monroe Greene, John Green, Houston Greene, Roscoe (Rock) Greene, Marcus Greene, Ed Green, Julius Clark and Henry Clark. She also follows sisters, Ellen Temples, Loraine Shockley, Lois Eiss and Mary Exum in death. She is survived by sons, Marty Griffin of Allenville and Jimmy Griffin (CeCe) of Alapaha; daughter, jane Griffin (Rene Navarro) of Lake Wales, FL; sister, Wonnie Wonnie Brogdon of Valdosta; special grandson who was the joy of her life, Ricardo Navarro, and a fiancé, Aleia Pate of Lake Wales; two additional grandchildren, Cricket Stone and Joshua Youngblood, three great-grandchildren, Chev Chevy Stone, Diesel Stone and Justin Pate. Funeral services were held February 16 at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Music Fun Funeral Services with burial following at Poplar Springs Church Cemetery.
