 Ollie Griffin, 93, of Nashville died September 19, 2013 at Berrien Nursing 
Center.
 Born June 28, 1920 in Lawrenceville to the late William Eber and Mattie Lou 
McGee Quinn, she was a homemaker and retired from Nashville Mills in Quality 
Control. She was a member of Nashville First Baptist Church and the widow of 
Bayne Griffin who died in 1980. She was also preceded in death by four 
brothers, Clinton Quinn, Claude Quinn, Winton Quinn, and Hulon Quinn; two 
sisters, Lucille Quinn and Buna Thomas.
 She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Delaine and S.G. Solomon of 
Nashville; son, Marty Griffin of Nashville; sister, Claudia Harnage; three 
grandchildren, Chris Solomon, Casey Solomon and Stephanie Tew; nine great-
grandchildren.
 Funeral services were held September 21 at 3 p.m. in the Chapel of Lovein 
Funeral Home with the Rev. Stanley Luke and Mr. S.G. Solomon officiating. 
 Burial following at Westview Cemetery.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
