Richard Lacy Griffin, 67, of Atlanta died June 27, 2014, at Etowah Landing in 
Rome.
 He was born March27, 1947, in Berrien County to the late James Henry and Lucy 
Delma King Griffin. He was a service-connected disabled veteran having served in 
the Navy and Marines in Vietnam and was also in the Navy Choir. He was a master 
barber by trade and of the Baptist faith.
 He is survived by two sisters, Dinah Griffin of Fairburn and Deborah Griffin of 
Albany; brother, Greg Griffin of Albany.
 A graveside service will be held July 5 at 11 a.m. at Long Bridge Cemetery. 
Visitation will be held July 4 from 2-4 p.m.
 Lovein Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
