Griffin Wesley H. Griffin, 60, of Nashville, died Tuesday, February 7, 1995 at his residence. Born March 16, 1934 in Berrien County, he was the son of Bernice Crumley Griffin and the late Arthur Griffin. He was a retired food broker and a U.S. Marines Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Nashville United Methodist Church and attended Nashville Mission. Survivors include his wife, Rose Marie Devane Griffin of Nashville; one daughter, Pam Pierce of Nashville; two sons, Jerry Griffin of Valdosta and Mike Griffin of Atlantic Beach, FL; his mother, Bernice Griffin of Valdosta; two sisters, Jean Browning of Atlanta and Sylvia Brown of Valdosta; one brother, Johnny Griffin of Morrow; three grandchildren. Funeral services were held Thursday, February 9 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Tegler Greer and Rev. Fred Hesters officiat(ing). Granddaughter, Tricia Pierce, recited a poem in his memory. Soft organ music was also provided. Interment was in Westview Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Vic DeVane and Tim DeVane, Tim Griffin and Ara Griffin, Steve Lynn, all nephews and Jerry Griffin, son. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
