 Jodie P. Griggs, 44, of Ray City died June 19, 2005 at South Georgia Medical 
Center in Valdosta.

 Born February 25, 1961 in Ft. Worth, TX to Hess Paul Griggs of Dallas, TX, and 
Melba Hardee Griggs of San Angelo, TX, he was a retired staff sergeant with the 
U.S. Air Force. He was Catholic by faith.

 Survivors, in addition to his parents, include his wife, Elizabeth Griggs of 
Ray City; sister, Bonnie Gray of Washington, DC; brother, Bill Cowart of Ray 
City.

 A memorial service was held June 22 at 3 p.m. at Moody Air Force Base Chapel 
full military honors.

 Carson McLane Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
