The Berrien Press--Ronald William "Guinea" Griner, 71, of Nashville died May 
1, 2003 at Berrien County Hospital.
 Born April 1, 1932 in Berrien Co. to the late Robert Mack and Ida McDaniel 
Griner, he was a Navy veteran and retired as an E-6 in the US Air Force after 
25 years total service. He was awarded the Bronze Star while serving in 
Vietnam. He was a member of Nashville Post VFW and Nashville First Baptist 
Church.
 Survivors include his wife, Geraldine Parr Griner of Nashville; several 
nieces and nephews.
 Funeral services were held May 3 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Lovein Funeral 
with Rev. Richard Williams officiating. Musical selections included "Go Rest 
High On That Mountain" and "Take My Hand Precious Lord."
 Interment with full military honors was held in Nashville Memorial Gardens.
Lovein Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
