The Rev. Donald W. Griner, 54, died Friday, March 28, 2008. A private family 
funeral will be held at a later date. The family will receive friends from 7 
to 9 p.m. Monday at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
 Born Dec. 11, 1953, in Cook County, the Rev. Griner was the son of Huey 
Griner Sr. and Grace Hanncock Griner, both deceased. He was a retired 
construction worker and a member of Lenox Christian Fellowship.Survivors 
include his wife, Songa Griner of Nashville; three daughters, Ajah Griner and 
Leah Griner, both of Tifton, and Robin Griner of Perry; a brother and sister-
in-law, Huey Griner Jr., better known as big brother “Man,” and Patricia
Griner 
of Jacksonville, Fla.; and one grandson, La’Shae Hamilton, known affectionately
