Born July 14, 1949 in Lowndes County to Charles and Mamie Lee Jones Moore of Nashville, she was a homemaker and retired educator with the Berrien County School System. She was a member of Riverside Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors, in addition to her parents, include her husband, James T. Griner of Nashville; one daughter, Julie Griner of Valdosta; one son, Jarrod Griner of Nashville; one sister, Iris Shepard of Nashville; one brother, Chuck Moore of Nashville; one grandson. Funeral services were held June 24 at 11 a.m. at Riverside Missionary Baptist Church with the Revs. Johnny Hendley and Gary James officiating. Deborah Boyd sang "Beulah Land," "Consider the Lilies" and "The King is Coming." The congregation sang "Amazing Grace," accompanied by Carolyn Hendley. Interment was in Riverside Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Joey Moore, Jerome Moore, Michael Jones, Billy Jones, Danny Hendley, David Hendley, Tommy Lee, Archie Hendley. Honorary pallbearers were Lamar Jones, Dixie Smith, Alton Exum, Rusty Darby, Wayne Roberts, Steve Roberts, Gregg McClellan, Van Whaler, Howard McLane, Buddy Exum, Johnny Harrell, Dennis Proctor, Wayne Strickland, Jimmy Watson, John Webb, Chris Avera, Charles Paulk, Carlos Vickers, Lamar Vickers, Wayne Hendley, Roger Hendley, Troy Griner, Johnny Avera, Billy Hendley, Israel Melton, James Royals, Kevin Rowan, Kevin McCranie, Keith McCranie, R.H.
