Born June 13, 1918 in Clinch Co. to the late Charles and Bertha Collins Wilson, she was a homemaker and attended Nashville Mission. She was married to the late Floyd Griner. Survivors include daughter, Gloria Rogers of Valdosta; son, Sonny Griner of Nashville; sister, Laverne Griner of Alapaha; five grandchildren, eight great- grandchildren. A graveside service was held June 29 at 11 a.m. at Westview Cemetery with Rev. Clarence Luke officiating. The great-grandchildren sang "Amazing Grace." Active pallbearers were Cary Neal, Trevor Shaw, Scott Griner, Jay Prince, Ben Warren, Andy Webb. Honorary pallbearers were J.P. Webb, Sr., J.P. Webb, Jr., Jerry Cooper, Pat Balliet, Fay Griner, Aulie Sirmans. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
