Born Jan. 6, 1946, in Atkinson County to the late J.E. Clayton and Mary Ruth Hodg Hodges Griner, he was a very devoted farmer and horseman. He was of the Baptist fait faith. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Jackie Griner, Jimmy Griner and and Renna Griner. He is survived by his wife, Rhonda Saviluoto Griner of Nashville; three dau daughters, Kristie Terrell of Nashville, Reejeana (Keith) Purvis of Alapaha and Cha Charleen (Michael) James of Adel; son, Bobby (Sandy) Tuttle of Nashville; five gra grandchildren, Allison Terrell, Meagan Terrell, Katelyn Tuttle, Harley Tuttle, and and Kade Lawton Purvis. Funeral services were held Jan. 13 at 3 p.m. at Open Door Baptist Church in Ad Adel with the Revs. Gary James and Mickey Lindsey officiating. Interment followed at Westview Cemetery. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
