Born January 24, 1918, in Berrien County to the late Archie Hilton and Elizabeth Fender Hendley, she was a homemaker and member of Riverside Missionary Baptist Church. She was the widow of Olan Thomas Griner who died in 1994. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Randall and Marilyn Griner and James and Debbie Griner, all of Nashville; brother, Clifton Hendley of Nashville; three sisters, Vernell Bauer, Dallas, Faye Mosley, McKinney, TX, Reva Rollins, Douglas; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Gayle Griner, and a granddaughter, Gina Griner, Funeral services were held November 21 at 4 p.m. at Riverside Missionary Baptist Church with the Revs. Jimmy Futch and Junior Swain officiating. Alton and Susan Exum and Sara Vickers sang "See You in the Rapture." The Congregation sang "Take it To the Lord in Prayer" and "Amazing Grace." Interment was in Riverside Cemetery. Pallbearers were Archie Hendley, Roger Hendley, David Hendley, Wayne Hendley, Roger Hendley, Danny Hendley, Tommy Lee. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements..
