Griner Dies in Florida Lucius E. Griner, former Nashville boy, passed away suddenly Monday night of this week at 11 o’clock at his home in Lake Wales, Fla. He suffered a heart attack and died shortly after a doctor arrived. He had not been previously ill. He was 41 years old. Mr. Griner was born and reared in Nashville, a son of J.B. Griner, now of Ray City, and the late Mrs. Griner. He had lived in Lake Wales the past 14 years and was a prominent druggist. He was highly esteemed and his sudden passing was a shock to all friends and relatives. Funeral services were held yesterday in Lake Wales, Fla., with burial in the city cemetery. His father and brothers and sisters who live in south Georgia left for Lake Wales Tuesday morning. Surviving is his widow and two small daughters, his father, J.B. Griner of Ray City, one brother, J.R. Griner of Ocilla, and the following sisters: Ms. Bill Robertson of Dayton, Ohio, Mrs. C.J. Sutton of Hollywood, Fla., Miss Mimie Griner and Mrs. Carl West of Ray City, and Mrs. C.L. Overstreet of Nashville.
