NASHVILLE-- John Albert Griner, Jr., 66, of Nashville died August 24, 1997 at 
South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta.
 Born Feb. 22, 1931 in Berrien Co. to the late Albert and Stella Parr Griner, 
he was a retired service foreman for Colquitt EMC and was a member of the 
Nashville Fire Dept.
 Survivors include his wife, Helen Cook Griner of Nashville; one daughter, Pam 
Griner of Fayetteville; one brother, Jerry Griner of Nashville.
 Funeral services were held August 25 at 5 p.m. in the chapel of Lovein 
Funeral Home with Rev. Fred Hesters officiating.
 Interment was in Westview Cemetery.
