Born August 22, 1918, in Berrien County to the late James W. and Mary Elizabeth Oliver Weaver, she was a homemaker and retired salesperson with Sears. She was of the Primitive Baptist faith and was married to the late Otto Gross. Survivors include four daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Donnie Connell of Tifton, Betty and Clinton Ray of Nashville, Donna and John Lawrence Teague of Valdosta, Terry and Fred Sims of key West, FL, son-in-law, Jamie Cripe of Ocala, FL; ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were David Easterbrooks, Matt Connell, Patrick Connell, Michael Connell, Clint Ray, Danielle Gross. Lovein Funeral home was in charge of arrangements.
