A native of Nashville, she lived most of her life in Albany, where she was a member of Central Baptist Church and owner of The Tax Shop. Her passion was to travel, and she loved taking her grandchildren to the beach. She loved to work in her yard and prided herself on keeping an immaculate yard. She was known for being very independent, sociable and for having an outgoing personality. Most of all, she will always be membered for the love and dedication she gave to her d daughter and grandchildren. Survivors include her daughter, Haley G. King of Albany; grandchildren, Mason and Savannah King of Albany; brother, E.D. McMillan of Nashville; sister, Emma Jean Hendley of Tifton. Funeral services were held May 24 at 11 a.m. at Kimbrell-Stern Funeral Di Directors with Rev. Greg Davis officiating. Entombment followed at Crown hill Mausoleum Chapel. Kimbrell-Stern Funeral Directors was in charge of arrangements.
