She was born May 22, 1927, in Berrien County to the late Arthur and Susie K Kelly Richardson. She was a homemaker and member of the Family of God through h her baptism. Survivors include her husband, Samuel Vernon Guthrie of Nashville; son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Brenda Guthrie of Nashville; sisters, Idell Richa Richardson of Punta Gorda, FL and Wanda Fay Mow of Valdosta; grandson, Ron Guthr Guthrie of Nashville. Funeral services were held March 1 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home Home with the Rev. Junior Swain officiating. "Long Black Train" was played on CD. CD. Lee Stallings and Scott Johnson sang "Amazing Grace" and "When We All Get to H to Heaven." Interment was in Westview Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Jerome Kilpatrick, Darrell Kilpatrick, Deland Guthrie, Mi Mike Horn, Phillip Guthrie, Jim Lee, Phillip Clark. Honorary pallbearers were J.W. Warren, Larry Kent, Danny Guthrie, Millard, J James Kilpatrick, Nardo Castro. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
