The Berrien Press -- Billy Bige Henry Hancock, 72, of Valdosta died August 24, 
2008 at South Georgia Medical Center after a sudden heart attack.
 Born February 6, 1936 in Berrien County to the late Billy and Donnie (Walker) 
Hancock, he was self employed as a contractor. He was a member of Camp Creek 
Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by Zella Mae Bullard, 
Odell Hart and Vida McGee.
 Survivors include his wife, Annie G. Hancock of Valdosta; daughter and son-in-
law, Cindy Hancock-Boyd and Bill Boyd of Nashville; three sons and daughters-
in-law, Todd and Taresa Hancock of Adel; Allen and Cindy Hancock of Nashville, 
Daniel and Lisa Hancock of Nashville; 12 grandchildren; seven great-
grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews.
 Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on August 26 at Camp Creek Missionary 
Baptist Church with burial following in the church cemetery.
 Music Funeral Services of Lakeland is in charge of arrangements.
