He was born Nov. 12, 1930, in Berrien County to the late Coy Hancock and the late Rosa Baldree. He was a farmer and a member of Flat Creek Baptist Church.He is survived by his wife, Lucille Brown Hancock of Nashville; two sons, Tony (Sharon) Price of Nashville and Charles (Linda) Price of Sandersville; brother, Tallie Hancock of Nashville; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Mildred Griner and Melba Wilson. Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 24, 2009, at Flat Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Mickey Lindsey and the Rev. Junior Swain officiating. Burial will follow in Flat Creek Cemetery. Pallbearers were Roy Wilson, Jamie Griner, Dale Hanock, Bobby Johnson, Johnny Mack Brown, Darrell Abbott. Honorary pallbearers were Keith Lewis, Scott Fender, Jimmy Purvis, Roy Miller.
