  Tallie C. Hancock, 82, of the West Berrien community, died Friday, Dec. 31, 20
2010 at Berrien Nursing Center. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today in
in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home. The Rev. Ronald Wilcox, the Rev. Billy Ro
Roberts and the Rev. Jackie Connell will officiate. "The Old Rugged Cross" an
and "Amazing Grace" were played on CD. Ronald Wilcox sang "Mansion Over the Hi
Hilltop."
 Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery. 
 -Pallbearers were Bobby Hancock, Brooke Hancock, John Hancock, Greg Atwell, Gary A
Gary Atwell, Grant Atwell.
  Mr. Hancock was born on Sept. 7, 1928 in Berrien County. He was the son of Coy H
Coy Hancock and Rosa Baldree, both deceased. He was preceded in death by a broth
brother, Mallie Hancock, and two sisters, Mildred Griner and Melba Wilson. Mr.
Hanco
Hancock was a retired farmer, a school bus driver for more than 20 years and a life

life member of the Berrien County Farm Bureau, having served as president for nine 
nine years. He was an army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a member and
deaco
deacon at Pine Grove Baptist Church.
 Survivors include his wife, Melba Godwin Hancock of West Berrien; one daug
daughter, Brenda (Shane) Atwell of West Berrien; one son, Dale (Lola) Hancock of W
of West Berrien; and five grandsons, Bobby (Brooke) Hancock, John Hancock, Greg
Atwe
Atwell, Gary Atwell and Grant Atwell.
 Lovein Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
